About the SLP

My name is Lauren West and I'm so glad you're stopping by! I'm a nationally certified speech-language pathologist, practicing since 2011, and a rehabilitation service provider for individuals with ADHD. I was trained at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and have 14 years of experience working in the public school setting in the elementary, middle school, and home-based early intervention settings. My two greatest passions are working with children and adults with executive functioning needs (specifically related to ADHD), and working with young children with speech and language delays and their families using the parent coaching model. 

I am a mother of two children with significant executive functioning delays, as well as a rehabilition services provider in ADHD. Everyday I see how internal language drives our ability to manage our thoughts, decision-making, planning, and emotional-regulation. I love nothing more than helping children with ADHD to achieve their full potential as the wonderfully capable individuals that they are!
